Ceasar Rosa's U-Rock Cafe: Welcoming Ottawa Spot for Cozy Vibes, Artisan Coffee & Local Art

U Rock Cafe is genuinely such a great spot to hang out and repose. I was, yes, a little anxious before going in, but the moment I stepped through the door, all that tension and stiffness disappeared. The place has a really cool, laid-back vibe that makes it very easy and comfortable to settle in. I loved the colorful illustrations on the walls and the guitar hanging up; it gave the space so much character. The staff were friendly and welcoming without being overbearing, which made the experience feel effortless. Having my chai there with my family was such a treat, and the conversations flowed easily, friendly, relaxed, and actually never forced or awkward. Everything about the cafe felt inviting, from the decor to the atmosphere; it has so much character. And even the two other patrons seemed so at ease. It's exactly the kind of place I bet you can spend a few hours just enjoying without feeling rushed at all. Even though it was my first visit, I already know I'll be coming back. U Rock Cafe is a spot that makes you feel at ease, comfortable, zen, and genuinely happy to be there. – Moxxie.

This cafe is one of the best in the neighbourhood. The Atmosphere is friendly & welcoming; the setup is great for chatting with friends and with other customers. They serve the BEST matcha latte! (Iced or hot). If you’re in the neighbourhood, you need to drop in & check it out!

Quiant, cozy, chic, with affordable menu items and lovely customer service. This carries itself to be a pretty safe space to just be, and interact with those within the community. I appreciate the support of local artists, and overall, its very welcoming atmosphere. If I lived closer, I'd come here more often!

What a cool and hip little cafe in Wellington West. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ceasar, himself. He was very welcoming and I loved his energy. He is clearly passionate about his cafe. I love that the cafe features local artisans, from their baked goods which are from Nick, a Swedish baker who owns Fikapaus, to the paintings and other artwork that adorn their walls and shelves. I got a blueberry scone which was tasty. I grabbed my treat to-go, but the cafe seems like a great little place for a date or hanging out with friends. They opened in August 2023, but I only recently discovered this place. What a great addition to the neighbourhood.

A lovely cafe, exceptional quality coffee with unbeatable prices. Caesar makes everyone feel at home, it's not surprising he has so many regular customers. Highly recommend a visit.

Just a fabulous place all around. Ceasar cares so much about creating a safe and welcoming environment, great conversations, and of course, amazing coffee and food!! He has put so much effort into perfecting everything he serves and this is one of the local businesses I am always happy to support and hype up to others. He has such a focus on community building and I think Hintonburg really appreciates this new gem! Not to mention, the prices are so so reasonable. My favourite items so far are the waffle breakfast sandwich, and the grilled cheese, and also the white mocha latte. And if you ever see the chocolate raspberry cups, you will not regret getting one, but those are not around for long. ALSO $3 LATTE TUESDAYS!!! I know, in this economy?!! All the love for Ceasar and his efforts!!!
